WORCESTER, MA — Worcester will study website traffic impacts linked to a new Amazon supply station set to open up close to the airport.
Residents in the Tatnuck neighborhood questioned At-Significant Councilor Gary Rosen to increase the situation, assuming the warehouse will raise traffic. The Council voted to purchase the City Supervisor to research site visitors burdens.
In mid-December, Amazon declared it would just take above a 177,000 square-foot Goddard Memorial Travel warehouse, which was earlier owned by electronics distributor TE Connectivity, and was ordered in Oct for $7.2 million by Burlington-primarily based Goddard Memorial Push Proprietor LLC. Amazon claims the facility will hire hundreds of people.
