The first time I flipped I can assure you, network marketing success was not even in my brain cells. My first flip was off the high-dive at the Wilson, NC Recreation Center. Never forget the sensation of goose bump fear coupled with the daring and not so darling nature of a six-year old. My goal: a backwards flip. Result: A belly slap when I hit the water after a not quite complete turn, and a nose shot full of chlorine. That’s not the flip principle I’m referring to today.
Network marketing success may very well ride on your ability to flip. Here you are… part of an industry that has the power to radically transform the lives of others. You are now a part of the solution to the economic crisis. You are in a Winning Industry. But you gotta know how to flip.
Google the words economic recovery and you get 3,890,000 hits filled with words such as loss, risk, downturn, bank bailouts…you get the picture. Google Network Marketing and you get 130,000,000 hits. People are starving for good news.
Don’t turn on the television if you’re searching for good news. I can tell you with 100 percent confidence…it’s BAD (as in the opposite of good). As one Senate candidate said: “We have three financial scenarios in America today. “Scary, scarier, and doomsday.”
Admittedly the news surrounding network marketing is not always on the up side; yet the scales are in their favor, for those in legitimate companies.
What do we mean by FLIP?In this article, when we refer to flip, we refer to:
FLIP… Focus on the hope-filled side of difficult and sometimes painful circumstances.
Here’s an example. What do most people think of when they have to go to the dentist or orthodontist? Most equate it with PAIN. Dread. Costly procedures. Our friend Taylor Clark, who is excited to be in the
Dental Industry… is able to FLIP. He recently declared: “I get to change someone’s life today with a cosmetic porcelain veneer makeover.”
FLIP… Be willing to TAKE INITIATIVE to help you AND others Consider Mary Kay Ash. Mary Kay® products are sold in more than 35 markets worldwide, and the company’s global independent sales force exceeds 2 million.
Mary Kay was asked many times: ‘How did you succeed?’ The answer:
“I was middle-aged, had varicose veins and didn’t have time to fool around. I wasn’t that interested in the dollars-and-cents part of the business. My interest in starting Mary Kay Inc. was to offer women opportunities that didn’t exist anywhere else.”
FLIP…Be willing to do today what most people won’t so you can have tomorrow what most people can’t.
FLIP… Ability to remove toxic “unbelief” in yourself AND inspire others to see beyond their “unbelief”. “Men often become what they believe themselves to be. If I believe I cannot do something, it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe I can, then I acquire the ability ito do it even if I didn’t have it in the beginning.”–Mahatma Gandhi
FLIP for a MOMENT…
Have you considered that your network marketing opportunity has the power to transform lives?
- Layoffs and Downsizing or Outsourcing? Not in network marketing.
- Lack of increasing income or opportunity to advance? Not in network marketing. You can have a pay increase any time you want to; it becomes effective as soon as you do.
- Horrible work environment or business associates? In network marketing you control this.
- Worries about retirement or future income? Again, network marketing wins hands down.
You, as a network sales consultant are able to make a proclamation to the world, that flips them from “Oh No…Network Marketing…to “WOW…I see what this can do. Not everyone will flip with you. Many will gaze critically from the sidelines. That’s OK.
You, however, must be an stellar example of the “Flip” before people will want to follow you. You must believe in your network marketing company, and in yourself. Then, and only then, others will beg you to teach them the “Flip” principle!
FLIP… A principle, which if pursued and practiced will make the world glad you were born for such a time as this!
As you seek network marketing success; In the words of our friend Emil Turner: “we hope it rains bull yearlings and hay to feed them on.”
