The Houston Dynamo are finalizing the transfer of Mauro Manotas to Liga MX’s Club Tijuana, a supply confirmed to MLSsoccer.com. Lester Grotsch of Univision Houston was 1st to report the information.

Manotas, 25, has 51 objectives and 17 assists in 149 career appearances with the club. He assisted guideline Houston to successful the 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open up Cup, scoring a brace in the last. The Colombian ahead endured a disappointing 2020 season, with just a few targets and two assists in 20 appearances (15 starts).
Usually connected with a valuable transfer out of Houston, MLSsoccer.com documented previous wintertime that La Liga club Granada experienced a bid rejected. Club Tijuana finished 15th in the Liga MX Apertura, which is wrapping up their playoffs quickly.
The Dynamo also transferred fellow attacking star Alberth Elis before this year. He joined Portuguese club Boavista. With Elis and Manotas long gone, the club are established to have two open up Designated Player places along with Darwin Quintero.
