Tottenham news: Spurs ‘explore’ Youri Tielemans transfer as Oliver Skipp signs new contract
Here is your Tottenham Hotspur morning digest on Thursday, April 21.
Spurs explore Tielemans possibility
Speaking on the Here We Go podcast, Fabrizio Romano said Tottenham are interested in signing Leicester City midfielder, Youri Tielemans: “Back in January, February, we said Tielemans will leave Leicester. Tielemans is going to leave Leicester at the end of the season, 100%. Many clubs interested, Tottenham included, but still nothing close.
“They are not negotiating with Leicester or Tielemans at the moment. They are exploring, but it is important to know if they are in the Champions League. He is on Tottenham’s radar, but five or six clubs are competing.”

Kane transfer boost
Manchester City have reportedly agreed terms with Erling Haaland’s representatives on a transfer this summer. The news will be welcomed by Daniel Levy and Tottenham Hotspur, who will be desperate to keep hold of talisman Harry Kane once again.
City were unable, or unwilling, to meet Levy’s asking price and eventually backed away from the transfer. Kane stayed in north London – where he’s been since the age of 11 – and has once again shown that he’s one of their most important players this season. His age means there’s likely to be even less potential suitors this time around, and the Haaland news means Tottenham’s task of keeping hold of him for yet another year has been made that little bit easier.
