Nationwide Rifle Affiliation documents for bankruptcy, looking for to escape New York lawsuit

(Reuters) – The Nationwide Rifle Affiliation on Friday filed for individual bankruptcy, a sudden progress that could help the gun rights group escape a lawsuit by New York’s attorney standard trying to find its dissolution.
The NRA submitted for Chapter 11 security in federal personal bankruptcy courtroom in Dallas, and stated it designs to reincorporate in Texas to escape “a corrupt political and regulatory natural environment” in New York, where by it is now integrated.
